We are looking into installing a welcome sign for our estate.

We are trying to secure monies for addition facilities to the estate, such as a playpark etc... We've recently met with our local councillors who have highlighted the tough economic times Liverpool City Council are facing. We want our residents to canvass our councillors to get addition facilities - otherwise it is our fear that the remainder of the dowry money will be wasted away on maintenance work that we feel council tax should cover.

We (The committee) were able to get our councillors to previously agree to place a freeze on Dowry Spending (see AGM minutes). This was to prevent a repeat of history, whereby £85,000 of the Dowry was spent on supposed improvement works to the estate!!

We cannot let this happen again to our estate! The more people that canvass and ask - hopefully they will get the message!

Junior School Cross Country Race

We have been speaking to the agents that run and maintain the shops regarding a "spring clean" to the exterior. Councillor Martin Cummins has agreed to liaise on our behalf to see if we can get them tidied! This work still ongoing by the Councillor - different avenues being explored.

We've had several promising meetings with the local councillors and RJMF, the most recent being this week.

We will update you further as soon as we can. This work still ongoing, complex and frustratingly slow process will update everyone once we have a definite steer which way the process is going..

We have purchased two new notice board style signs.

They are located by the School gates.

They have now been installed. Keep an eye on them for the latest updates.

We are pleased to announce, we've secured a £540 grant for planting around the langley close area.

This will take place before the end of March. -- Unforntunately the planting fell victim to the maintenance work. Some suffering weed spray, others the mower.
